The digital world!
Today we are living in the information society and our everyday life is based on digital services. As a private person I login in to my Internet bank and check my accounts, pay bills or move money. Or I can surf to a web shop and buy books or CD’s. We are citizens and use digital services in Governmental purposes as e.g. tax declaration, download documents or use health care services. As an employee I login to my company’s Intranet or use my mail program.
It doesn’t matter if you are a private person, citizen or an employee; it’s important that you can identify your self in a correct and secure way. Today’s solutions are often difficult to handle or use due to it require new passwords, extra tokens, hardware’s including drivers or software’s to download and the solutions is often only working for a single service. In general you either lose mobility or security with today’s solutions.
From mobile phone to mobile device!
A few years ago the mobile phone was only made for voice communication but today the mobile phone has transformed to a mobile device. Today it is your entertainment and information device. In a few years it will be your security device.
The user!
Today a mobile terminal is nearly every person’s property and together with the rapid evolution of the mobile terminal and better bandwidth in the mobile network the borderline between today’s computer surfing and tomorrows mobile surfing is erased. The user experience can not differ between the computer surfing and the mobile surfing regarding digital services. The user wants the digital service to be Secure, Easy, Convenient and Smart to use.
